In August 1977 the Brisbane firm of Feather Walker and Delaney opened a branch office at Broadbeach and Greg Delaney became the resident partner of this office which carried on a general practice under the firm name.

The firm of Feather Walker and Delaney was founded in 1944 the partners then being Mr J.J. Feather, Mr K.M. Walker and Mr J.T. Delaney, who is Greg Delaney's father. Over the intervening years a successful legal practice was built up consisting mainly of conveyancing, litigation and general legal practice.

Both Mr Feather and Mr Walker passed on and the practice was carried on by Mr Delaney who remained senior partner until 1982. In the interim Mr Delaney received the Queen's honour of the CBE.

The firm now practices under the name 'Delaneys'. Delaneys is now a third generation business with Greg Delaney's son, Tim, appointed to the firm on 15th of July 1996 and Principle from 15th January 2001 and his other son, Anthony on 15th January 2000.

The Bundall office in the commercial law area has had considerable experience in high volume conveyancing, acting not only for developers, but for large numbers of purchasers buying properties in various developments. We have also been involved in acting for numerous purchasers in high rise developments as well as acting for National Superannuation and Investment Trusts.

The firm in addition to conveyancing carries out legal work in the areas of Property Law and Development, Leases, Business Transactions, Personal Injuries, Commercial Litigation, Finance and Banking and General Litigation. The firm now also boasts the services of an experienced finance broker.
