Owner Occupied

If a property is to be the principle place of residence for a period of not less than six months after settlement, the Stamp Duty will be as follows:

Purchase Price/Value Duty
Up to $300,000 1% of purchase price
$300,001 to $550,000 $3,000.00 + 3.5% of the balance over $300,000
Over $500,000 $11,250 + 3.75% of the balance over $500,000

If the property being purchased is the first home you have owned in Australia Investment Property/Vacant Land
