Tim Delaney - Principal

Tim was appointed the principal of the firm in January 2001. He took over the firm from his father Gregory Delaney who still remains with the firm on a consultancy basis.

With his early legal practice experience in a large Brisbane firm, Tim has been able to integrate big firm professionalism, strategies and systems with the more personalised service of a medium sized firm such as Delaneys.

Tim has extensive experience in property and commercial law. Such areas include property developments, conveyancing, leases, business acquisition and structuring.

Gregory Delaney

Greg is the previous Principal of the firm. He is now engaged on a consultancy basis and has in excess of 30 years legal experience.

Greg now heads up the Finance Law Department within the firm. Greg has in the past and still currently acts on behalf of some of Australia's major lending institutions such as AXA and Australian Unity.

In addition to Greg's expertise in the finance industry, Greg is also an accomplished Litigator and has run many cases to the Court of Appeal and the High Court of Australia.

Anthony Delaney

Anthony has been appointed to head the litigation, wills and estates and migration departments of Delaneys Lawyers. Anthony has gained extensive knowledge and experience in all areas of litigation ranging from Supreme Court personal injuries actions and commercial litigation to small debt claims and domestic issues.

Anthony is a Bond University Graduate with a Bachelor of Laws Degree. During his tertiary education he focused his studies in the commercial and corporate law streams. He is now placing emphasis in all forms of litigation and wills and estates.

Anthony is currently applying to become a Registered Migration Agent with a particular interest in the areas of skilled and business related temporary and permanent residence. Anthony also has a keen interest in property development and currently holds a Real Estate Agents License (license No 2402717).
